Emma Dixon

I discovered my passion for throwing in the 8th grade, which led me to gold at the oregon state middle school championships. I went on to compete in the shot put and discus at the High school state meet all 4 years, with a dual gold finish my senior year. I then went on to compete at the University of New Orleans, a division 1 program where I became a hammer and weight throw specialist. But due to an unfortunate injury, my throwing career was cut short, paving the way for a career in coaching.

After graduating with my bachelors degree from the University of New Orleans, I settled in East Texas and began working with local athletes in 2020. I am now proudly a part of the Momentum Throws Staff and am excited to share my passion and coach. I am looking forward to serving the throwers of East Texas and can't wait to get to work!
